13° DISABLED YOUNG PEOPLE'S ITALIAN
CAMP International
Domodossola July 9-21, 2011
PURPOSES
To offer the disabled young people the
opportunity to meet and join themselves to exchange their experiences in an
atmosphere of friendship and amusement in an equipped and tested structure
done speciallyy for them. To help them to develop their potentials by
cultural, sporting, tourist, recreational team activities. To show them the
tourist facilities and the socioeconomic aspects of the wonderful Province
of Verbano Cusio Ossola.
Camp Rules
PERIOD
From June 9 to July 21 2011.
The arrival of the participants is expected on Saturday, June 9 The
departure will be on Thursday, July 21.
PARTICIPANTS
Boys and girls aged
from 18 to 26 with an attendant cach preferably a young volunteer ( major )
or a relative that will follow them during the stay. 20 disabled young
people and 20 attendants, coming from foreign and Italian Lions Districts,
will be hosted.
KIND OF HANDICAP
Only physical disabled young people
will be admitted (able to communicate) . Mentally handicapped
people are excluded.
ACCOMODATION AND CHARGES
The Multidistrict 108-Italy
will pay the stay in the Camp for the disabled young people and their
attendants. The participants have to pay the tickets from their hometown to
Linate or Malpensa airports or to the rail station of Domodossola and return.
INSURANCE
The disabled young peolple and their attendants have to pay an
insurance to cover travel and luggage, accident, serious ilness and a third
part liabilities from the departure to the arrivai in their hometown
APPLICATION FORM
It must be sent to the Camp
Director Lions Remo Macchi (at the address below);A medical certificate,
assuring good conditions to travel and to take part to the activities, must
be enclosed to the application;The applications must be subscrived by a
parent or by the legal tutor and by the responsible Lions Club or District
Officer;The Multidistrict has the authority to accept or not the application
following the Committee's advice and the availability of the rooms;The

ACTIVITY PROGRAM
The activity program will be given at the arrival. The participants will
take part to the planned activities of course according to the limits of
their possibilities and the medical authorizations.
